The Challenge

My Lifestyle Agents is a team of REMAX Realtors serving Grande Prairie and area. Kim Lissoway & Karly Cole work with a wide range of clients and are aiming to market themselves as the agents that are here to help during any phase of life. The team came nine10 to create an original logo design, a visual identity, and a website. nine10 was tasked with creating designs that had to appeal to a team of individuals, the branding needed to represent all of the members of their team.

Our Solutions

The Logo

When the team met with nine10, they hadn’t decided on a name for their group of realtors. Through a collaborative effort, the team chose the name, My Lifestyle Agents. They aimed to communicate that they are there for clients through every stage of life, from your first home to retirement and beyond.

My Lifestyle Agents is a team comprised of women, they were interested in designs that represented their femininity without being too girly. They came ready with a general idea of colours they wanted to see used within their logo. A simple wordmark was created combining a simple thin sans-serif font with a handwritten script. The addition of the script font, highlighted in a blush pink colour gave the logo a subtle feminine feel.

In addition to creating the main logo, nine10 created an additional version of the logo customized for each member of the team. These logos added the realtor’s name placed above the main logo.

The Brand

In addition to creating a new set of brand standards, nine10 had to work with the existing brand standards created by Remax. The brand needed to feel professional, sophisticated, elegant, and bold. A set of patterns were created to reinforce the feeling of elegance. These patterns use subtle lines and geometric shapes. They help the team brand various marketing materials without overpowering the content of the design. The delicate designs within the pattern and various graphic elements give the feminine feel the team was looking for, without relying on girly cliches.

Part of the project included creating a Canva Brand Kit for the MLA team. Templates for new listings, open houses and sold listings were created for the realtors to edit easily within Canva. We also supplied the clients with all of their branded elements within this brand kit.

The Website

Being a modern team, My Lifestyle Agents wanted a modern website to match. They wanted to see animations and unique modules used on their site. To emphasize that the team is there for their clients through all life stages a grid module of photos was added to the homepage. Clients are able to hover over a specific life stage and learn more about how the team can help within that stage. Despite the challenges presented when setting up this module, it is a fantastic addition to the website.

This website was created to showcase the individual listings of each realtor, as well as their listings as a team. Each team member has their own specific page on the site containing a quick biography with their listings displayed below. Working with a realtor is a personal experience, these pages help potential buyers/sellers get a sense of each realtor’s personality and view potential property options each realtor has available.
