Pat’s Auto Supply Ltd. is a Grande Prairie and area institution with a family-owned legacy going back to 1955. As part of their 60th Anniversary, Pat’s Auto Supply was looking to refresh their brand with a new logo to represent their 60 years of service.
Recognizing that brand identity is an important foundation in the creation of a new logo, nine10 recommended a Visual Identity and Brand Standards guide be included along with the creation of the new logo.
60th Anniversary Logo
Pat’s Auto Supply has an in-house skill set when it comes to design so was able to provide nine10 with a very well flushed out concept of their 60th Anniversary logo. nine10 took the concept already developed by Pat’s Auto Supply and defined/polished it further.
Visual Identity Standards Guide
nine10 produced a Visual Identity Standards Guide for Pat’s Auto Supply in order to define their logo, visual standards and brand. As part of the Guide, templates for business cards, letterhead and a generic half page ad were included.
Brand Compliance Guide
A Brand Compliance Guide provided Pat’s Auto Supply with consistent rules and company brand standards, promoting consistent brand positioning both internally and with outside vendors. The Brand Style Guide also clearly described the brand (tone, personality, audience, archetype, persona, imagery, etc). Technical specifications along with all the master files for the logo and various design templates were also included.
