GP Soup gets together once a month to eat soup and support local community initiatives through crowd-sourced micro-grant programing. nine10 agreed to support GP Soup in a consulting and branding capacity through a small fee and gift-in-kind contribution.
One of the group’s biggest challenges is clearly explaining who they are and what they do, so nine10 collaborated with their leadership team to refine their “elevator pitch” and bolster their grassroots marketing.
nine10 provided a strategy document to help guide GP Soup in their marketing efforts and designed a new logo, poster, and graphic templates for clever social media postings.

gpsoup is an independent group of like-minded people who gather once a month to eat soup and provide micro-grants to people looking to start or continue an idea that improves the community.
nine10 designed GP Soup’s new logo and graphic pieces to emphasize the organization’s core values: openness, community, collaboration, local-focus. Several clever wordplays were created to emphasize the symbolism of “nourishing” the community through a shared meal.
Aesthetically, GP Soup’s brand is clean, modern, and trendy. The crossed soup spoon and ladle represent GP Soup’s two core audience groups: Community Supporters (ladle) and presenters (spoon) coming together over a shared bowl of soup.
