Can I update my own website?
Yes! ALL of our websites allow you to perform updates on your own. You can add, edit and delete pages. Inside of those pages, you can update all of the text, as well as upload photos, videos, and post links to documents like PDF, Word, Excel, and much more.
Is it easy to edit my website?
Yes! If you have ever filled out a form on the web, or used a word processing program like Word, you already have the skills you need to use our website products. Only basic computer and word-processing skills are required, and we offer FREE training and technical support for all of our website products.
Do you write (or jazz up) the writing on my website?
Yes! Professional copywriting services are included for the pages that we build on your website. This saves you time and frustration, and helps your website get the best results possible for your business.
Do you provide training?
Yes! Training is included in the price of every website. Typically we will book a training session before the site launches or shortly thereafter.
Can you train my staff to update my website?
Yes! We invite you to bring whomever will be updating your website to the complimentary training session.
What if I need help after my training?
We're here to help. Your website includes free phone and email technical support for as long as you have it. Just call or email if you get stuck.
Can you update the site for me instead?
Yes! If you prefer not to edit your site, for whatever reason, we offer maintenance services at $75/hour.
What happens if my site breaks a month or two down the road?
No problem. Your website is covered by a lifetime warranty which we call our Problem-Free Guarantee. If something is broken or not working correctly, and it's caused by something we can reasonably control, then we'll fix it for you - promptly and at no charge.
Can I add pages or tabs to my menu?
Yes. You can add new pages to your website and the website will automatically add links to them in your menu.
Can I link to other sites?
Yes. Every one of our websites allows you to create links to other websites, as well as pages within your own website. Many of our customers link to manufacturers, brands, and organizations around their community (e.g. city, weather, news, etc.)
Do you offer photography services?
Not in-house. We work with third-party photographers who specialize in various styles of work and are happy to recommend the right one for your needs.
How long does it take to build my website?
Simple Websites: We can have them ready to review in as little as 2 days, if you have your logo and content ready when we start.
Simple Websites Plus: We have have your Simple Websites Plus ready in as little as one week, if we have your logo and content ready when we start.
Flauntomatic: Flauntomatic websites involve much more customization and therefore take longer to build than Simple Websites. We have built smaller Flauntomatic websites in as little as 3 weeks. More complex projects like E-Commerce stores and Customer portals may take closer to 3-6 months to complete.
Are there any hidden fees to build or run my website?
No. We do not believe in hiding prices from our customers, and when you meet with us we will help you find a solution that fits your needs and present all the costs to you up-front. We will never charge a fee that you didn't know about beforehand.
How can I have my website go online as quickly as possible?
Delays in launch can be avoided by:
- Having a clear idea of what you want to accomplish with your website
- Having your information, photographs, and logo ready before starting the project
- Hiring a professional photographer if necessary
- Reviewing your proofs and providing approvals/changes as quickly as possible
- Paying your invoices promptly
- Answering your emails as quickly as possible
Do you help my website show up in search?
All of our websites are designed to be as search-friendly as possible. Many of our websites perform well in search without any extra effort.
However, if you are in a competitive market, or have very specific search terms you wish to optimize your website for, we can help you improve your position with professional Search Optimization and Marketing Services. Ask us about these services when we meet.
Do you provide hosting for my website?
Yes! Every website is bundled with hosting, and we set up everything for you to save you time and hassle.
Do you help me register my domain name (www.somewhere.com)?
Yes! We help you select and register your domain name. We then automatically renew & manage your domain for the life of the website, and the cost of that is included in your monthly fee.
Do I get email accounts with my website?
Simple Websites customers may add personalized emails to their website for a small monthly fee. Flauntomatic customers get up to 25 email accounts included.
Can I host the website you build on my own server?
Not at this time. All of our website products are specifically designed to work with our hosting services.
What if I ever wanted to take my website elsewhere?
Should you ever decide to move your site away from nine10, we will provide you with an HTML copy of your website, as it looks on the web, as well as an export of the content you entered into the website, such as photos, events, articles, products, etc. With these materials you can rebuild your website in whatever content management system your new vendor uses.
